SMF 2.1 Beta 2 Released

This was released a few days ago and I missed it!

Thanks Steve I'll upgrade mt 2.1smf test site first then try a 2.0 and report back!

OK upgraded my 2.1 Beta test site and all went well, no issues with the smf for me yet, however issue with other stuff ( mods) my theme are working just find take I started way back when the alpha can out, so i' ahead of the game on that respect!@

Some are having issue over at SMF but I did not read them all yet, but think it maybe mostly user errors

Today Installed this SMF 2.1 Beta 2 on my themes site, was 2.0.10 and it all went very well no issue, and Ezportal also works very well there, simple Audio video installed with a few errors, and old version, but works great!

Please note that none fo your old theme will work or even be recognized by the the SMF 21. ( buit the SMF core 2 theme looks very nice,. till I get some of my new themes finished and uploaded... you can check it out here :

Yes and it's Responsive, way more up to date CSS and code and still captures the SMF looks!
has some new drop down features at the top left side I'm gonna keep it and do my main site also!

Time move forward with the themes and Mods

I am installing it now. I like that they've included the registration mode setting in the installer. This way you will not forget to set it.

I you upgrade just dwn load the large update and load it via FTP and them use the upgrade.php.
enter your current password and it will update all... not sure what you mean by registration..??

your old themes will not work, nor the simple portal as far as I know!

I'm finishing up some 2.1 themes at this time!

I installed the full version.

The registration mode you set in the admin. Admin Approval, Disable Registration, etc... It's now in the install so you can set it during installation. It's still in the admin but it is nice that you can do it there and not have to remember to change it if needed later.

I'm doing my main site now.. if I don't like it a paid for the host restore Pro, so I can go back anytime@!

But I'm hoping not to !

There are 2 help icons that do not work and give an error in the Alerts screen in Notification Preferences in your Profile.

EDIT: They are working now?!?!?
