Stop Spammer

Since Stop Spammer has no longer continued to keep the mod updated, and now creating errors, either installing or removing.. I have errors trying to install the mod.. He has not been around the SMF support forum in about 7 years or more..

My question would be, what else can we use..

Good question...I've been meaning to look into this myself. I use Underdog's mod but his site is down, atm. Let me see if I can find it.

Did you find anything yet, whats the hold up, you've had a minute or so?

The version I have installed was from 2013. But he has been upgrading it himself here and we use this site for testing it. I'll send him an email and see if he has an updated version. It uses modified versions of Stop Spammer and httpBL mods.

Meanwhile, you can also use these mods:

Forum Firewall - this is a powerful mod and if used incorrectly you can block yourself from your own forum, like I did once. LOL You'll have to go into the db and change your status  to get back in.
