We've sure seen some winter

here in southern BC Canada for a change.....I know you easterners are used to that sort of

thing but we are used to mild rainy winters lol. This snow stuff is a shocker to us! Our

snow is different too....it's not the drier fluffy kind like you have...it's wet

sloppy, messy and heavy.....the full of moisture kind. It makes driving here a nightmare

because it turns to ice at night and we have mostly hills etc... accident heaven! Also

since we don't usually get a lot of snow here many people don't know how to drive

in it either.

We haven't been to cadets all week and it's taking my

husband Dan and extra hour on his already  long 1 1/2 - 2 hour commute to work. My

kids hardly every get a "snow day" (since we usually don't see much snow),

but they have actually had 2 snow days in a row! Lucky them eh?

We haven't

had much snow this year, strangely enough. And the weather has been very warm for this time

of year. When it does snow we get all kinds of it from the light fluffy stuff to the heavy,

sloppy, slushy kind.
